Northwest Trading Post Milepost 259 Blue Ridge Parkway
Northwest Trading Post is located in Ashe County North Carolina at MP 258.6 in Glendale Springs. The trading post offers local arts, crafts, souvenirs, food, snacks, and drinks. The North west Trading Post is a perfect location to stop and refresh yourself, and has been in business for over 50 years as a gift shop. The Northwest Trading Post is the mecca for home crafts in eleven northwestern NC counties, including the home base of Ashe County. The building, more than 50 years old now, was recently renovated, making it even roomier and more handicap accessible.
