Crabtree Falls – Milepost 339.5 – Blue Ridge Parkway
Crabtree Falls does not have a visitor center, but is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the mountains. Crabtree Falls is one of the most popular hike to a waterfall trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Crabtree Falls offers a beautiful waterfall, hiking trails, a campground and picnic area.
The Crabtree Falls hiking Trail is a 2.5 mile scenic loop that leads you past the base of the waterfall. Crabtree Falls is a 60 ft water cascade over a rocky cliff. There is a bridge that crosses the creek and is a great spot for photos or to listen to the sounds of nature and relaxation. There are of course better views that are closeup on the side of the creek that allow you to stand at the base of this beautiful waterfall.
